Made in Zeulenroda – what applies to durable, robust and precise presses now also applies to high-quality honey!

The Zeulenroda Presstechnik GmbH premises have been buzzing and humming recently – because our team has grown: Over 20,000 new ‘employees’ have moved in! They are small, hard-working, excellently organised and wear yellow and black striped ‘work clothes’. That’s right – we’re talking about our new bee colony, which has found a permanent home with us in collaboration with the provider dieFirmenbiene.de.

The up to 50,000 honey bees are working at full speed – and with an efficiency that many a production process would enviously marvel at: organised, well-structured and highly productive, a genuine natural product is created in the midst of flowers and honeycombs – high-quality honey, produced regionally and sustainably, directly on the factory premises.

This honey symbolises what our machines are all about:

While highly complex presses for worldwide use are being produced in our halls, the bee colony shows us in an impressive way how natural processes can run with maximum efficiency. The analogy is obvious: as with honey production, our manufacturing process involves many precisely coordinated individual steps and a well-coordinated team that turns individual parts into a high-quality whole.

But our commitment goes beyond fascination: with the bee colony, we are making an active contribution to biodiversity and species conservation – an aspect that is becoming increasingly important in many certifications and sustainability audits.

At the same time, up to 100 kg of fine honey is produced each year, which we will pass on as gifts to business partners and customers in future – a delicious greeting from Zeulenroda.
