Review – Night of Business 2025 at ZEULENRODA PRESSTECHNIK

An eventful Night of Business lies behind us – with around 500 visitors, numerous discussions and an impressive insight into the world of mechanical engineering “Made in Zeulenroda”.

The evening focused on guided tours of our assembly and production halls. Our guests were able to experience at first hand how individual press systems and complex machine tools are created – and how many different professions, high precision and many years of experience come together in the process.

Our apprentice workshop was a real crowd-puller: Here, young guests were also allowed to get active themselves – by welding, milling and measuring, they created their own metal money box.

The development of complex customer solutions was also in focus: visitors were able to look over the shoulders of our mechanical engineers and students at work and follow the development process of innovative press technology live – from the initial idea to implementation according to customer requirements.

The quality control department demonstrated the measurement and testing of complex assemblies – including an explanation of why precise tolerances are crucial for the quality, efficiency and longevity of our machines. One highlight was the laser measurement of a series system for the battery production of electric vehicles.

The event concluded with an impressive live demonstration of one of our high-tech production facilities for the manufacture of core components for electric motors – future technology in action.

Many visitors were surprised to see what sophisticated mechanical engineering has been realized in Zeulenroda for over 150 years – supported by a dedicated team and state-of-the-art infrastructure.
