Respect for human rights and fair working conditions is a fundamental part of our corporate culture.<\/p>\n<p>ZPT is committed to respecting human rights in our own business operations and throughout our global supply and value chains. Our actions align with the following international standards:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Universal Declaration of Human Rights of the United Nations (UN)<\/li>\n<li>Ten Principles of the UN Global Compact<\/li>\n<li>Core Labour Standards of the International Labour Organization (ILO)<\/li>\n<li>UN Guiding Principles on Business and Human Rights<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>This guideline outlines how ZPT promotes human rights and good working conditions, and how we implement the ILO core labour standards.<\/p>\n<p>The guideline applies to employees, suppliers, and authorised sales partners and supports the long-term success of our company.[\/vc_column_text][\/vc_column][\/vc_row][vc_row el_id=&#8221;Art. 1 VProhibition of Child Labour and Protection of Young Workers&#8221;][vc_column]\n<div class=\"spacer spacer--large\" style=\"height:30px\"><\/div>\n<div class=\"spacer spacer--medium\" style=\"height:30px\"><\/div>\n<div class=\"spacer spacer--small\" style=\"height:15px\"><\/div>\n[vc_column_text]<\/p>\n<h3><strong>Art. 1 Prohibition of Child Labour and Protection of Young Workers<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p>ZPT does not tolerate child labour. The statutory age restrictions under the German Youth Employment Protection Act apply. Children under the age of 15 and full-time school-age adolescents may not be employed. Exceptions apply only to school internships or similar educational internships that support a child\u2019s development.<\/p>\n<p>When employing adolescents and young workers, we strictly observe legal regulations regarding working hours, breaks, and hazardous activities. All tasks considered dangerous or potentially harmful to the physical or mental development of young employees are prohibited.<\/p>\n<p>ZPT supports the dual vocational training system and offers apprenticeships in accordance with the Vocational Training Act.[\/vc_column_text][\/vc_column][\/vc_row][vc_row el_id=&#8221;Art. 2 Forced or Compulsory Labour&#8221;][vc_column]\n<div class=\"spacer spacer--large\" style=\"height:30px\"><\/div>\n<div class=\"spacer spacer--medium\" style=\"height:30px\"><\/div>\n<div class=\"spacer spacer--small\" style=\"height:15px\"><\/div>\n[vc_column_text]<\/p>\n<h3>Art. 2 <strong>Forced or Compulsory Labour<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p>ZPT does not tolerate any form of forced or compulsory labour.<\/p>\n<p>All employees work voluntarily and without coercion, threats, or penalties.<\/p>\n<p>Job responsibilities are defined in job profiles and published transparently. Psychological factors linked to overqualification or underqualification are considered, and responsibilities are aligned with the required qualifications.<\/p>\n<p>During interviews, tasks are clearly communicated by the responsible department head. Applicants assess their suitability and agree to the tasks.<\/p>\n<p>Throughout employment, employees may rely on the task descriptions defined in their employment contracts. Any discriminatory treatment that impairs women\u2019s ability to exercise their human rights and freedoms is not tolerated.<\/p>\n<p>ZPT strictly prohibits harassment\u2014including sexual harassment\u2014as well as intimidation or bullying.
